He was born on March 13, 1928 to the late Charles Wesley Reinhardt and Nola Irene Crews Reinhardt in Catawba County. Charles was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Conover. He loved to fish, camp, and tinker with just about anything to keep him busy.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Reva Little Reinhardt of Hickory; sons, Dennis Alan Reinhardt and wife Sandra of Newton, Wayne E. Reinhardt of Claremont; daughter, Janet Reinhardt of Hickory; grandchildren, Alec Wesley Reinhardt, Anna N. Ward, Charles Wayne Reinhardt, Scott Dula, Beth Ann Clark; great grandchildren, Brianna Miller, Maxwell Miller, Jaxson Ward, Sydney Dula, Emily Dula, Caleb Diamond, Kylie Diamond; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 3: 00 p.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Conover. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2: 00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the church. Pastor Kevin Graudin will be officiating the service. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 544.
