Charles Eugene Huffman

Charles Eugene Huffman, 83, of Conover passed away on December 23, 2024 in Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born October 7, 1941, he was the son of the late Claude Eugene Huffman and Allie Hefner Huffman. A member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Charles was an upholsterer in the furniture mfg. business.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Simmons Huffman.

He is survived by his son, Dennis Huffman; daughter, Janet Barger; grandchildren, Ashleigh Barger, Allison Barger, Emily Huffman; great grandchildren, Carter Watson, Brayden McMurray Nova Messer; sister, Shirley Hefner; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Seaman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 At. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Our Savior Lutheran Church, Blessing Box, 2160 35th Ave Dr. NE, Hickory, NC 28601.
