Carson M Williams

Conover – Carson McQueen Williams 81 of Conover, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Born on December 9, 1939 in Cumberland County, he was the son of the late James Leonard and Ora Lee Fann Williams. Carson was a 24 year veteran of the USAF where he reached the rank of Senior Master Sargent. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorotha Williams; 2 daughters, Lori D’Amico and husband Gregory and their children, Holly D’Amico and Sean D’Amico and Krystal Twardzik and husband Ken; a brother Leonard Williams and a sister Brenda McLean.

He is also survived by his loyal poodle, Princess.

A Graveside Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10:00 am with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Catawba or Burke Counties in Carson’s name.
