Ms. Carolyn Griffin White

Born on August 29, 1944 in Burke County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Wilson Griffin and Bessie Penley Griffin. Mrs. White and her husband co-owned Doug White Motors in Hickory, NC for 32 years. She was also a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Newton, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Krystal Dawn White; sister, Belinda Brooks; and a grandson, Brandon White.

Mrs. White is survived by her husband of 54 years, Doug White; sons, Scott White and wife Linda and Mark White and wife Pamela; grandchildren, Kristen, Garren and Ryan White.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 2:00 – 2:45pm at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations prior to the service.

A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, July 30, 2017 3:00pm at the Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Lucky Hedrick officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan, Garren and Kristen White, Tim Smith, Chad and Kevin Marley.
