Mrs. Betty Lutz

She was born on June 3, 1934 to the late Ray Cline and Viola Herman Carpenter in Catawba County. Betty enjoyed talking and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband Jackson Lee Lutz Sr., sisters; Thelma Waters and Dorothy Mae Carpenter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons; Jack L. Lutz Jr. of the home, Alan Ray Lutz and wife Kim of Conover, grandchildren; Whitni Self and husband Coley of Claremont, Alexis Lutz of Conover, and Lincoln Lutz of Conover, great granddaughter; Ansley Self, sister; Geraldene Reed of Conover, brother; Sherman Carpenter and wife Judy of Hickory, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Lutz will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-2:45 at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Jay Robison will be officiating the services. Burial will follow immediately at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
