HICKORY – Betty Sue Beck, 82 of Hickory went home to be with her Heavenly Father on June 9, 2018.
Born on September 9, 1935 in Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Hartley Isenhour. Betty was of the Baptist faith. She was a grandmother and a great-grandmother. Betty loved to play golf with her friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel L. Beck; two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Buchanan and husband Jerry of Hickory; granddaughter, Brandie Finger of Hickory; great-grandson, Justice Finger; her favorite nephew, Ronnie Brooks of Caldwell County; and a number of family members.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Catawba Funeral Home from 6 - 8 PM.
