Betsy Elizabeth Huffman

Mrs. Betsy Elizabeth Huffman, 43, of Hickory, NC, died suddenly at her home on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the age of 43. She is the daughter of William (Bill) and Barbara Braddock of Hickory. She was a private duty CNA and a nursing assistant.

In addition to her parents, Betsy is survived by her husband, Brian Andrew (Andy) Huffman of the home; daughters, Jamie Hicks and fiancée Shawn Wise of Hickory, Andrea Huffman of the home and Meagan Hersman and husband Shawn of Conover; sisters, Ann Tarantino and fiancé, Philip Bracewell, III and Stephanie Hendrix and husband Larry of Hickory. She had two beautiful grandchildren, Mackenzie and Molly, that were the light of her life; six nieces, Jessica, Alexandria, Brooke, Summer, Katelyn and Abby; and nephew, Thomas. She also had many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Receiving of family and friends will be at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm with the memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Huffman family at 2521 29th Street NE, Hickory, NC 28601.

The family will be assembled at her parent’s home.
