BaoChau Salvador

Born in Saigon, Vietnam on January 4, 1972, she was the daughter of Kieuoanh Vo and the late Thanh Luong Nguyen.

Her children: Calla Lily, Weni, and Matthew Salvador, her husband: Wenimar Salvador, her mother: Kieuoanh Vo, her sister: Emerald Nguyen, and her nephew: George Nguyen survive her.

Upon graduation from Westminster High School in California, BaoChau went on to Auburn University to pursue pharmacy. While obtaining her degree, she met the love of her life who would support her through thick and thin. After graduating, she gave birth to two beautiful children. The family then relocated to North Carolina where she gave birth to one more beautiful child. She lived out the rest of her life happily gardening and spreading joy.

BaoChau had the kindness and light of an angel. She would touch everyone she met with the joy she had. Her smile was the brightest part of any day, her laughter the melody of happiness, and her being a bright person who loved hard and endlessly.

A funeral service for BaoChau will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church, 4929 Sandy Porter Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28273.

A receiving of friends will occur Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home, 1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, North Carolina 28602.
