Andra Faith (Sparks) Caldwell

She was born in Mitchell County on March 31, 1964, she was the daughter of Maude Shuford Sparks and the late Edd R. Sparks.

Andra was a former member and pianist of Brown’s Creek Church. She was a NC State graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, and was Operations Manager for Pet Smart. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister and friend, she will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband John F. Caldwell of the home; her mother Maude Sparks of Burnsville; brother Kevin Sparks and wife Elaine of Nashville, TN; step daughters Christie Bass of Hindsville, GA and Julie Caldwell of Denver, NC.; special aunt Bonnie Moses; aunts Phyllis Wylie and Ann Autrey and husband Johnny; and uncles Ed Shuford and Jay Shuford and wife Vicky.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 12:00pm to 1:45pm at Hickory Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Reverend Ernie Richards officiating.

Graveside service will be Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 3:00pm at Big Crabtree Church, 2143 Rabbit Hop Road, Spruce Pine, NC 28777 with Reverend Forrest Westall officiating.
