Alice Kay Killian

HICKORY – Alice Kay Killian, 77 of Hickory was welcomed into Heaven in the arms of Jesus on August 22, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Alice was born on September 23, 1945 in Catawba County to the late Charles Robert and Violet Matthewson Kalb. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Alice was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing for her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years, Ransom A. Killian Jr.; children, Lisa Greene and husband Reggie, Marty Killian and wife Kelly, Jeffrey Killian and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Trevor Greene, Casey Greene, Brittany Killian, Hunter Killian; great-grandchildren, Nolan Greene, Silas Killian, Ahnah and Ayden; siblings, Sandy, Judy, Jane, Johnny, and nieces, nephews and other family members.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11 AM at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Ziehr officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 AM – 11 AM at the funeral home.
