Agnes Lopez McDaniel, 89, passed away at her residence at Abernathy Laurels in Newton. Born in Homcourt, France, Agnes came to the United States in 1945. She began her career in credit at the Credit Bureau in Cleveland, OH. When they decided to open an Elyria branch, she was named manager. She soon became recognized on the streets, soliciting for business and was awarded ”Woman of the Year”.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronald of Hickory, sister, Silvia Murello of Elyria, OH, daughter, Sandi Russell of San Diego, CA and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
