It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria Josefa Lorenzo, who left this world on February 15, 2025, in Miami, Florida, at the age of 96. Born on March 19, 1928, in Cuba, Maria was a cherished homemaker whose love, care, and nurturing spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Maria devoted her life to her family, creating a warm and loving home for all. She was known for her kindness, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones. Her strength and grace will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate to have been in her life. Her warmth and compassion knew no bounds, and her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched.

A Funeral Mass for Maria will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 3475 S.W. 17 Street, Miami, Florida 33145. Following the Funeral Mass, Maria will be laid to rest at 1:00 P.M. at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North Cemetery, 3260 S.W. 8 Street, Miami, Florida, 33135.

Maria’s memory will be a lasting treasure in the hearts of her family and friends forever. May she rest in peace.
