With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Lucia Muñoz, who left this world on April 8, 2025, in Miami, Florida, at the age of 82. Born in Cuba on October 21, 1942, Lucia was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, loyal friend, and trusted confidante to many.
Lucia was an artist at heart—a talented painter with a gift for working with her hands. Her creativity and skill were matched only by her quiet strength and boundless compassion. She was a devoted church member, faithful in her beliefs and steadfast in her love for God and community.
Her life was a reflection of her deep faith, her generous spirit, and her unwavering love for her family. She touched many lives with her warmth, grace, and wisdom, and she will be missed dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at San Lázaro Roman Catholic Church located at 4400 West 18 Avenue, Hialeah, Florida, 33012. She will be laid to rest at 2:00 P.M. at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 N.W. 57 Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida, 33014.
