Brother Lovell Harper was born July 18, 1954 in Hollandale, Mississippi to the late George Harper Jr, and Florence (Lynch) Harper. On October 13, 2012 our Lord and personal savior called him home to rest and rejoice in his presence.
Lovell was called to do God’s bidding in the prime of his young adulthood, and he jumped in with both feet knowing the Lord had chosen him to be his servant. Lovell was a God fearing man who truly loved serving and praising his name with everyone he encountered. He traveled worldwide doing missionary work on Gods behalf. While he ministered and worshipped at several churches throughout his life, it was God’s final mission for him that brought him to Homestead, Fl. to start-up his place of worship. Here is where he founded: “Missionary Bible Tabernacle” to share the word of our lord, over the internet and the telephone for those who were not able to attend in person. It was his love and dedication to God’s message that brought a lot us to the Lords house wanting to know more.
Brother Lovell was preceded in death by his son Jonathan, and as he transitioned to his place with our Lord and Savior, he leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife Vivianne Harper of Homestead, Florida, three sons Daniel, Timotheus, and William Harper and one daughter, Joanna Harper all of Florida: his mother Florence Harper of Lilburn, GA: four brothers, Lecister (Brenda) of St Louis, Mo., George (Tracy) Elgin, IL, Douglas (Tammie) MN, Edward P. Harper (Tessa) MN, and two sisters Genora Arslan, WI, and Carlene (George) Cheeks Lilburn, GA., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
