Chino. This still feels unreal. You were an intellectual leader, a father, a son, a brother, a friend, a life partner, an amazing cook with multiple talents and so much more. You helped guide so many people including myself. You selflessly helped others in need, whether it was helping them find a job to get them back on their feet or giving them the right words of advice, encouragement, and guidance to get them on the right path. You showed us that laughter was the key to getting through the difficult times and you have left us with so many memories that will ultimately give us the strength to keep on moving forward. I’ll never forget the memories and will carry them with me always. I know you are still with us, watching over us. We miss you and we’ll always love you my brother.

Dear Chino!  On behalf of my family and myself ,  I want  to thank you  for the great moments that we spent our families ,together .   My family and I feel your absence now,, but we will meet up again one day .  Thank you again cousin for the great love we shared.

I'm still trying this process this terrible loss. I'm thankful Elizabeth found a great partner in life and I'm glad I was able to call him my friend for all these years. Chino had such a fun personality and he had a great laugh! Let's not forgot his awesome cooking skills!! I loved eating his food. He was definitely talented in his field. Even though it's been a couple years, there was a point I was spending every weekend in Miami with the family and those times were so much fun. All the late nights talking, joking, playing, etc. I have such great, fond memories from that time.  I'm sad we didn't continue that tradition and see each other more recently.  My heart aches for Elizabeth and their children but I know my friend and she's stronger than she thinks she is. I hope she knows and truly understands she is not alone. Chino is watching over her, protecting her. I will always be here to support and help her too. My deepest and sincerest condolences.  Chino will never be forgotten. Xoxo
