Alberto Jesus “Albert” Perdomo of Highland Beach, FL, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2025. Albert was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States with his mother, grandmother and brother when he was only a year old. Albert grew up with his mother, grandmother, brother, aunt, uncle and cousins in Washington Heights (NYC), always keeping his heart full of love while missing the loved ones they left behind. After Albert’s mother met his stepfather, Manuel Alvarez, whom Albert was very proud of his courage and services to defend our nation in the Marine Corps, the family moved to Hialeah in September of 1977.
In Florida, Albert attended Our Lady of Lourdes, Palm Springs Middle School, Hialeah Miami Lakes High School and later, graduated from FIU with a Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Computer Science.
After college, Albert moved to Miami Beach because he loved the ocean. He was extremely dedicated to his career and his family. As an information technology professional, he had experience working as a IT Director for large corporations as well as smaller managed service providers, and also provided tech consulting services.
When Albert wasn’t working, he loved vintage cars, smoking cigars, the beach, scuba diving, softball, racquetball, and cheering on the NY Jets.
Following after his father and uncle Emilio, he developed a passion for collecting and working on vintage cars. Albert would spend every weekend working on his cars, attending car shows, and even started a car club to teach his friends to work on their cars.
Albert was also very active in athletics. He played on many softball and racquetball leagues, and was an avid scuba diver, who traveled to many exotic places for unique underwater experiences. A lover of beer and coffee, Albert also loved visiting breweries and local coffee shops everywhere he went.
Albert’s sense of humor, love of family, dedication to his career, and zest for life were unmatched. He will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.
Albert Perdomo is survived by his mother Milagros Alvarez, his father Alberto Perdomo Sr., his brother Adalberto “Dennis” Perdomo, his brother Adrian Perdomo, his cousin Isis Leon Tabisz, his cousin Emilio Leon and countless other cousins, nieces and nephews. He’s also survived by Kelly Boyle, to whom he was married for 10 years, and his three godsons (Nicky Leon, Jack Kuran and Blaise Kuran).
We love you, Albert, and we will miss you greatly.
