I'm so sorry to be late in posting this.  I heard about her passing in early 2019.  I went looking for my pictures of her but didn't find them until this week.  I wanted to share this one. I took this photo of Tereze in 2013 when we attended her jewelry show with the "scarfie" collector group. She was also a  wise scarf collecting mentor and kind hostess. Visiting her flat in NYC was like a warm hug. She and I joked that SOMEDAY I'd get back up there to collect my umbrella that I left behind! Tereze was brilliant and talented and I'm sorry I was only ever able to escape Philadelphia to visit her flat once in 2013.  I hope you enjoy this photo.

Tezzie was my first friend when we were little girls and we stayed in contact throughout our lives.  I will never forget her or the whole family.   Abigail, your mother was a special lady and Louise, your sister was always special to me.  My heartfelt condolences to all of you.

Salve, Tereze!  A petite but significant part of Vassar College's Class of 1967.  Seeing Tezi at last year's Fiftieth Reunion looking so fresh and spritely, I did not suspect that she had been ill this past decade.  I did not attend the 45th reunion of our class and so did not know this.  My sincerest condolences to her family.


What a wonderful 'obituary' for a clearly beloved and remarkable woman.....As a long-time 'executive' with Citi,  I assume Tereze knew my great uncle (Walter); and I'll look for a copy of her book. God bless you all.
