To the Goldberg family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for Mark at Global Equipment for the past 7 years. I was only fortunate  enough to see Mark a few times a year, but when he did make it to GA he always left me feeling confident in my work and He always had my back in any situation that I may have encountered while working at a different location. Even if most of the times were with humor. Mark was a very funny guy, who could easily put a smile on your face and who - when needed to ,definitely told it like it was. 

He was very proud of his family. We only had a few times to talk about family, but when we did he always had a smile on his face when he spoke of his wife and kids. 

Mark impacted my life in a way that I still don't quite understand myself. One thing I am sure of is there will never be another like him.  I have great memories of Mark that will not soon be forgotten.

I greatly enjoyed working with Mark at Global Industrial.  He was down to earth and told it like it was.  A true mensch and professional. I will miss him

I was blessed to have called Mark one of my closest friends for the past 20 years, he was the best human being I knew and I will miss him tremendously. 
My thoughts, prayers are with Sharon, Liza, Julia and Daniel.

I met Mark in 1996 when I began working with Systemax
He became my biggest supporter, my mentor
And my best friend.  Life will never be the same

I have known Mark for 14yrs.  He was the most gentle person I have ever met.  He was my mentor and certainly changed my life.  I will miss him a lot.  My prayers go out to the Goldberg family.

He was a gentle giant of a man. Great heart and compassion.

Mark was a true gentlemen,  I worked with Mark at Global/Systemax a long time ago. Mark was one of those people who touch your life and always is remembered. Mark, Syl, Steve and I used to go to lunch and laugh good times.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Mark.

I only knew Mark (He was a customer) for about 4 years but in that short time I quickly grew to like, admire, and respect him a great deal and I can imagine that there were countless numbers of others that felt exactly the same. I liked his energy, I was impressed by his intelligence and business acumen, and I enjoyed his youthful sense of humor and shared much laughter with him.

He always spoke highly and proudly of his family. He seem to enjoy the work he was doing at Global and was laser focused on doing what had to be done in order for the company to succeed. I can not begin to tell you how many times the conversation started with how are things with you and the family only to quickly switch gears and turn to: "Andy, your prices stink. You need to do a better job or I am pulling the work out!" I would not have expected anything else form him and it only made me respect him more.

I am saddened by the early loss of a wonderful guy but, like all of us, Mark has left an impression on me and has left me with good memories that will last a lifetime.
