Miller, Louise R. (née Lowe) passed away suddenly on June 11, 2020. Adored wife of George, children Robert (deceased), James (Denise) and Mark (Patti). Loving grandmother of Stephanie Mayhew (Joseph), Jonathan (Steph), Kevin, Jacob and Jamie.
Louise was born on August 15, 1934 in Manhattan to Blanche and Mortimer Lowe. She attended Finch College where she received her B.A. in English. Louise got married to George Miller on December 23, 1956 in her senior year at Finch. They moved to Hewlett, NY from Oceanport, NJ in 1958 where they had lived for 62 years.
Louise was an avid supporter of the ASPCA and animal causes. She loved needlepoint, quilting, and knitting. She donated quilts and clothing to various hospitals and charities. Louise and George loved and owned many cats over the years.
