Louis I. Rousso passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at the age of 75. A beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Louis lived a life marked by generosity, love, and a deep commitment to those around him.
Born on November 24, 1949, Louis brought warmth and kindness into the lives of everyone he met. He was known for his giving spirit and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His love knew no bounds, especially for his three children—Louie, Katie, and John—who were the pride and joy of his life.
Louis was also a proud and devoted grandfather to Preston, Chase, Parker, and Lennon. He cherished every moment spent with them and took great joy in watching them grow.
A lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, Louis found great happiness in watching baseball and sharing that passion with others. He was deeply involved in charitable causes and served on the board of The Sephardic Foundation on Aging, where he worked to foster innovation and collaboration in the field of aging.
Louis is survived by his loving step-mother, Barbara, two brothers, three loving children, and four adoring grandchildren. His legacy of compassion, generosity, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at Boulevard Riverside Chapel, located at 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY 11557. He will be laid to rest at Beth David Cemetery.
He will be dearly missed.
