Dear Mrs Mazor,
My name is Irwin Gasner and I have been a patient since buying the Persily home in 2017.
Since retirement in 2020 we winter in Florida and just returned end May and only learned of Bruce’s passing a few days ago!
Shocked is an understatement !!
May you and your family take solace knowing your late husband was the consummate gentleman , a talented and caring diagnostician who had a great sense of humor joking that how can he retire when his staff looks after him better than his mom did! 
He is street missed, and would have liked to know I had my second eye Cataract done this morning!!
Only one question, who would he had suggested I now go to??

Dr Mazor was one in a million. 
I called him Bruce after knowing him for 35 years.
He  was the Best of the Best. 
My son Michael Naso was his first patient from our family to visit him  when he was in South Middle School. Then Gregory and AJ.
 He told us for parents who still have perfect vision we make far sighted children. 
His humor was always appreciated.
He was truthful and funny. 
In our later years when our boys grew up and moved away he took excellent care of us.
He was a golf memorabilia collector. My husband Dennis presented him with a gift for his office  on our last visit not knowing what was Gods future plan. 
I feel he will always be remembered as our eye doctor but more importantly a family friend who always went above and beyond to care for us.

Where to begin. Dr. Mazor was the old school of medicine. From the minute you walked in the office to the time you sat down with him you knew you were dealing with someone special. The Doctors of today are nothing like the experience and care you received from Dr Mazor. We laughed, we joked and we got down to business. He was a cell phone call away or even sometimes a FaceTime call away. DR. Mazor was my doctor but I considered him a friend! When I first got news that he was not practicing anymore I immediately attempted to reach out to him but was unsuccessful. Felt like I needed to have one more conversation with a brilliant man.  Letting  him know how much I appreciated how he treated my family and I. Dr Mazor your family and you are in my prayers, you will be sorely missed by this family and I’m sure many others.

Our family is heartbroken to hear of Dr. Mazor’s passing. I have been a patient of his for close to 40 years.  I started seeing him as a child and when I started my own family  I brought my husband and children to see him.  He was kind and witty. Always willing to listen then make you laugh with a joke. He really cared about his patients. Always took good care of us whether it was a regular checkup or an emergency visit. I’m so thankful to have known him and he will be missed greatly. 
Our condolences to his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He loved you all so much. I was pregnant around the time his daughter was expecting twins and  his whole face smiled when he spoke about his family. May you find peace that he touched so many lives.
 His specialty was eyes but his stories changed the way I saw things and will stay with me.

I am so sad to hear about Dr. Mazor ‘s passing. I have looked forward to our banter and his wonderful care during my yearly checkups and whenever I had issues over the last 35 years. My condolences to his beloved family and thoughtful and professional office staff.

We will miss our annual trip to Woodmere to visit Dr Mazor.  We were his patients for many years and appreciated his skill, his genuine caring for his patients, and his sense of humor.

Richard & I are so sorry to hear of Bruce’s passing. He was our Dr for more than 50 years. Brilliant physician, always bragging about his wonderful family, and quick with a funny joke at every visit. And sometimes they were rated X, but always made you groan.

So sorry to hear the news of our family eye doctor's passing. 
Beside the fact that Bruce did cateract surgery on my dad successfully many years back , I  continued to travel from out east to see him after our move 19 years ago, as I only had the utmost trust and respect !

It was with great sadness that I heard the news of Bruce’s passing!
Our family have been patients for over 30 years.  Once you met him you never felt like you needed a second opinion.  He was knowledgeable, caring and oh so funny.  His decorated office expressed his personality.  You were surrounded by stuffed animals, golf paraphernalia and family pictures which showed you what he treasured most - his family, golf and fun!
To Elana and your children and grandchildren and his devoted staff, I offer my deepest sympathy.  He will be missed and remembered not only by family and close friends but by his patients too.

Pearl Mazor was my mentor and friend when I was a speech pathologist in the Lynbrook School District in 1960. Through her I followed Bruce’s career and became his patient when he opened his office. I loved my visits with him: reliving Pearl stories and catching up on his growing family through the births of his own children and the addition of his amazing grandchildren. Sitting in his exam room was a treat as his pictures told of his latest family adventures and his golf travels. Bruce loved his life: his wife, his children: his grandchildren, his practice, his golf and his travels. He did his very best in every aspect of the life he lived with his quirky sense of humor, his off color jokes ( even to this old lady) his support of the METS and the JETS and above all his love for his wife, children and grandchildren.  
I will miss him as a valued member of my medical team and as an old friend who always greated me with a big hug and kiss on the check. Rest in peace dear Bruce.
