Thomas Paul Green, born on April 3, 1958, to Roland and Jeanine Green, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on May 1, 2024. He is survived by his daughters, Amber Mullinax (Jacob) and Erin Aden (Jeremy); grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Jordan, Jared, Austin, Nicholas, and Zachary; siblings, Anthony (Caroline), Matthew (Tracy), Michael (Petra), and Christina (James); former spouse, Barbara Holt, and long-time companion, Lisa Vickers; nieces, nephews, family and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Timothy, Mark, and Donald.
Tom was not just a dad and a Pa, but a friend to all who knew him. He had a story for every occasion and a wealth of knowledge on a wide array of topics. It often seemed as though he had all the answers, and even when he didn't, his confident demeanor made us believe he did. We'll miss your heckling at games, your trademark crooked sunglasses, your knack for building anything, and above all, the unwavering support you offered us in all of our pursuits. While you may be irreplaceable on Earth, as one of the kids said, "God must have needed help keeping the serpents out of Heaven."
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Further details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "The Lair" at the L.A. Zoo.
