Jimmy was born in Los Angeles, CA to Janet McMeekin (mother) and Alan Crick Sr. (father), and raised by whom he called "Big Jim" & “Dad”, James Neuer (step-father). Jimmy was the second oldest child; His siblings (oldest to youngest) are Alan, Sara, Bianca, Kristen, and Zachary.
Jimmy lives on through his wife, Stephanie Crick, his son, Tristin James Crick (1), and also his daughter, Raven McCoy (11).
Jimmy began riding BMX (Bicycle Motocross) at the age of 4, advanced to off-roading vehicles by the age of 6, and even played organized football at the age of 8 on into his high school years. He was extremely talented in both BMX and dirt bike riding.
Jimmy attended school at South Hills, Covina, and Fair Valley High Schools.
After Jimmy’s academic endeavors, he worked in various construction positions ranging from roofing to drywalling. Thereafter, Jimmy began to pursue his passion with high-performance, off-roading automobiles. Jimmy was able to weld, fabricate, and build advanced, high-performance, trophy-winning, off-roading vehicles and was greatly sought after for his superior talents in his field.
Jimmy is remembered by his family, friends, and loved ones for his contagious, goofy, and heart-warming smile. His constant, positive energy and his desire to make friends and family feel loved were powerful traits that were well known to all who'd ever had the opportunity to make his acquaintance.
Jimmy, being more loved than imaginable, has heart-felt friends too numerous to mention...
Jimmy's Life Celebration is being held March 5th at 11:00 AM at High Desert Church 14545 Hook Blvd. Victorville, CA 92394. Doors open at 9:00 AM. Dress code is casual. Please bring a copy of your favorite picture of Jimmy to post on a memory board. A reception will be held directly after the service at Jimmy's mother, Janet's house in Hesperia.
