Biography
Born and raised in Stockton CA. She graduated from St. Marys High School in 1944 and attended University of Pacific. She married her husband Robert and raised her family in Watsonville CA for 36 years until his passing in 1982. She remarried to husband Richard Orman and lived in Scotts Valley CA before moving to the Sun City retirement community in Apple Valley 10 years ago. Most recently she resided at the Sterling Inn where she was “fantastically” taken care of by their staff and Hospice staff. In addition to raising 5 children, she was affiliated with the Omega Nu Sorority in Stockton and Watsonville. She was a Pink Lady and Eucharist Minister for Santa Cruz Dominican hospital for many years. She enjoyed tennis, swimming and days at the beach in her younger days. She also was talented at tole painting, cross stich, needle point and was an awesome seamstress. She enjoyed knitting and quilting and belonged to various clubs as well as attending church twice every Sunday!
