Calvin Carl Porter

Fondly Known as "Cal"

Born February 10, 1941 in Agra, Oklahoma to John and Jewell Porter.

Cal worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Mechanic Owner and Operator and Truck Driver. He worked on Oil Rigs in Bakersfield

Cal was a Stock Car Race Driver.

In 1994 he began his own Tractor Business "Cal's Tractor Service" until he retired 19 years later at the age of 72.

Cal lived life to the fullest. The old saying "Live Every Day Like it is your last cause it may be." He surely did.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of the Moose.

Cal is survived by, his Wife Kathy, Brother, John Porter, Daughter, Debbie Stillwell and her Husband, Howard, Daughter, Denise Needham, 7 Grandchildren , Danny and Bobby Stillwell, Ronnie, Sarah and Emily Frantzen, Amy and Ashley Needham, 2 Great Grandchildren, Addilyn and Weston Stillwell, many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Father, John Porter, Mother, Jewell Porter, Brothers, Alvin Porter and Alfred Porter, Sisters, Cleo Malloy, Loretta Schweikhart and Son In Law , Charlie Needham.

Services will be on Thursday, March 21st at Kern Hesperia Mortuary, 16120 Main St., Hesperia,CA. Visiation will begin at 10 AM with the service at 11 AM Graveside services will follow at 1 PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307

Celebration of Life will immediately follow the Graveside Service at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Hesperia, California.
