Virginia Keeran, 96, Boulder City, NV., died Nov. 27, 2016. Virginia was the daughter of Fred & Elsie Voss, born August 15, 1920, Williamsburg, IA. She graduated from Cedar High School in 1938. On May 28, 1941, she was united in marriage to Bill Keeran.
Virginia was a Buyer for Alsop’s Gift Department in Oskaloosa, IA. In 1997 she and Bill moved to Boulder City to be near their daughter, Sheryl. Virginia is survived by her daughter Sheryl Mayes; sister, Helen Shinn of Ottumwa, IA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son-in-law, Ed Mayes; and two brothers, Paul and Hugh Voss. She was very special and will be missed by many.
Services will be held Dec. 7, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., Grace Community Church. Memorials may be made to Grace Community Church, Cedar United Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
