Thomas Aginiga, 63, of Las Vegas, passed away on February 18, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Thomas was born on September 14, 1960 in Flagstaff, Arizona . He graduated from Boulder City High School in 1978 in Boulder City, Nevada. Thomas was a member of the National Guard out of High School. He married Joni Larsen in May 19, 2006, after being together since 1984.
Thomas was self employed under his business Lifetime Masonry, and had a career in masonry and carpentry for more than 40 years.
He had a passion for music from an early age that led to frequently performing as a singer/guitarist in clubs, bars, and local events and venues. He was a huge Elvis fan and performed countless covers of Elvis's music, along with his own original pieces.
His other passion was movies. He was an avid Star Wars buff, and loved to build and paint models of Star Wars replicas. He loved helping people, and had a relentless desire to make people laugh. Tom loved his family and enjoyed going on adventures with his grandkids.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Joni Larsen; brother, Steve Aginiga; sister, Michale Wilborn; his children: Emily Aginiga, Ryan Larsen, Sarah Smith, Tad Larsen; nine grandchildren: Hailey, Lucas, Chase, Zayden, Alex, Jackson, Damian, Ayva, Sawyer; and his great granddaughter, Kinsley.
Services will be held on March 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM, at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary at 800 S Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Reception will be held directly after the service between 4:15 PM - 6:15 PM at Downtown Recreation Center at 50 E Van Wagenen St., Henderson, NV 89015.
