Thomas Robert Krueger

Thomas Robert Krueger, age 72, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Monday December 9, 2019. He was born on August 21, 1947 at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota to his parents Clayton and Lorraine Krueger. He was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduated from Hill High School in 1965 and went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Air Force. Thomas was in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970, and then stationed in Taiwan, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

On July 10, 1976, married the love of his life, Terrilyn Ann Richie at the Blessed Sacrament Church of St. Paul, Minnesota. The lovely couple were blessed with three childen, and four grandchildren.

Thomas worked hard to support his family. The majority of his employment was spent with South Washington County School District 833. He and his family relocated to Las Vegas Nevada in 2003. Before retiring in 2011, he worked 7 years with Clark County as a Maintenance Custodian.

Thomas was a loving husband, dedicated father, and grandfather; who loved spending time with his family; He enjoyed winter sports like skiing and snowmobiling during the Minnesota winters. Summer hobbies included vacationing in Northern Minnesota, boating, waterskiing, fishing and golfing. He was the jack of all trades and could do everything from restoring cars, carpentry, and play a Beatles drum solo to baking an apple pie from scratch. Thomas was an avid sports fan and loved going to Golden Knights and 51’s games with his family.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Lorraine; sister, Sandra; and his son, Kevin. He is survived by his wife Terrilyn; daughter, Kristin (Brian); son, Kyle; four grandchildren: Korey, Tommy, Harper and Harlow; and daughter-in-law, Heather.
