Telesia Moana Bailey

Telesia “Moana” Lilomaiava Pauli Sefo Bailey, 67, of Henderson, Nevada, got promoted in Christ Jesus on October 9, 2018 at home peacefully. She was born on February 25, 1951 in Western Samoa to Lilomaiava Itiiti Pauli Sefo and Tauala Tanuvasa of Apia, Western Samoa who was married to her belated soul mate Elven Bailey on February 17, 1996 in the county of El Dorado, California.

Telesia Moana Bailey was a dedicated and beloved mother, to her 21 children, and a loving and devoted grandmother to her 65 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She will truly be missed.

Telesia was preceded in death by her sons, Ricky Fa’aofo, Ray Fa’aofo, and Gabriel Fuimaono; father, Lilomaiava Itiiti Pauli Sefo; mother, Tauala Tanuvasa; and siblings, Siaki Pauli Sefo, Sefo Pauli, Lio Lilomaiava Pauli Sefo, Lanuola Pauli Sefo, and Vaivasa Pauli Sefo.

Telesia is survived by her children: Vincent & Ana Bailey, Lanuola Ana Ah-him & Taliga Mua’ava, Auau Musu Malia “Marie” Faleafine & Malcolm T. Ale, Tiva Musu Faleafine & Steve Manuma, Tracy Fuimaono & Olsen Talalele, Lafaele Tavita & Rebecca Pauli, Lio Lilomaiava & Cassandra Sefo Pauli, Chris & Cristian Vargas Pula, Steven & Susana Tupe Bailey, Eric & Lorena Bailey, Lily Sianini, Lizzy Marie Fuimaono, Alepati Fuimaono, Benjamin & Cindy Fuimaono, Natasha Elsie Liu & Junior Tovio, Jean Liu, Michael Bailey, Bernard Bailey; brothers, Aika Pauli Sefo and Tasipale Sefo; 65 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on both Wednesday, October 17, 2018 and Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a family prayer service starting at 2:00 pm On October 18, 2018, all at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Funeral services will occur Friday, October 19, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 400 South Water Street, Henderson, NV 89015. Telesia will be laid to rest following the funeral services at 12:00 pm at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
