Shirley Ferrouillet Colin

On July 8, 2016, Shirley Ferrouillet Colin, formerly of New Orleans, Louisiana, went home to Jesus. Shirley was the third child born to the late Walter Anatole and Annie Colson Ferrouillet on October, 25, 1926, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the loving and devoted mother of Wayne P. Colin and his wife, Victoria, and Wanda C. Martin and her husband, Wayne J. Martin, Sr. Shirley (grannie) was proud grandmother of Wayne J. Martin, Jr., and Terry M. Martin of New Orleans, Louisiana, and step-grandmother of Gwendolyn Diaz of Henderson, Nevada. She was the adoring great-grandmother of Taylor Azure’, Kennedy Iman, and London Nicole. Shirley is survived by her cherished sister, Lois F. Howard, and brother, Kenneth J. Ferrouillet (Gail), sister-in-law, Yvonne G. Ferrouillet, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilbur and Lloyd Ferrouillet and bother-in-law, J. Daniel Howard. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation, Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. and the Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m., at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
