No funeral services are planned at this time. He will be buried in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.
Mr. Edwards was born Jan. 9, 1939, in Taylorville. He was married to Marlene Helm. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years. His last assignment was at Scott Air Force Base near Belleville.
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, he became the owner of the Subway sandwich shop in Litchfield, from 1990 to 2005. In 2005, he moved to Henderson, NV.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly, who lives in Henderson, NV, near her mother. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim, who died in 1981, from an auto accident.
