Richard Eugene Booker, 69, of Henderson, passed away on Saturday, June 6th, 2015. He was born on May 16th, 1946, to Walter and Mary Lee Booker, in Bisbee, Arizona. He served in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. Upon being discharged, he worked for the Corp of Engineers at Proctor Lake near Stephenville, Texas. After retirement, he moved to Henderson, Nevada, and accepted a position as a Game Warden at Lake Mead. Richard always had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hiking, backpacking, and working with the Boy Scouts. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was devoted to serving others as well as his church. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila, son, Bryan (Jennifer), daughter, Trisha (Mark), and son, Chris (Bryn); grandchildren, Sydney, Ethan, Julia, Shelby, Shaley, Marinn, Evan, Kade, Braddock, Eli, and Lucas. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Black and Jerry Miller, and his brother, Walter (Buddy) Booker Jr.
