Marie "Elaine" Meaux Rock, of Henderson, passed away peacefully March 24, 2014, with her loved ones at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Rock; her grandson, David Paul Rock; brothers, Herbie, Allen, Chet, Bill and Dupree Meaux Jr.; and sisters, Bertha Andrus, Nettie Guillot, and Buelah Bueker. Elaine is survived by her sons and their spouses, Dennis Jr. and Cheryl Rock of Henderson, Mark and Cheryl Rock of Las Vegas, Joseph Rock of Morse, La., and Michael and Lucy Rock of Murrieta, Calif.; as well as 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister, Anna Belle Alpha of Louisiana. Viewing will be from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, April 3, with memorial services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. Graveside will immediately follow services at Palm Memorial Park-Henderson.
