Lynn Evan Burr, 88, of Henderson, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born May 30, 1927 to David and Annie Burr in Marysvale, Utah and was a 50-year resident of Henderson. Lynn served in the US Navy during World War II. He graduated from Brigham Young University and was a retired mining consultant and entrepreneur. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, companion, and friend. Lynn was preceded in death by his wife and sweetheart of 47 years, Joanne Watson Burr, his 8 siblings and 4 of his grandchildren. Lynn is survived by his loving children, Linda (Ed), Jeff (Stacy), Rodney (Annette), Tracy, Amy (Steve); 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and his devoted companion of 18 years, Mattie Jim Hawkins. Services will be held on Friday, June 19th at 11 am with a viewing from 9-10:30am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 410 N. Valle Verde Drive in Henderson.
