Lydia Martinez, 81, of Henderson, passed away January 18, 2012. She was born February 28, 1930 in New Mexico. Lydia was the Bar Manager at the VFW Post 3848 for many years. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Martinez,; son, Manny Martinez; and daughter, Vivian Martinez. Lydia is survived by her daughter and son in law, Vikki and Jim Wirth, of Las Vegas, and daughter, Cindy Guzzetta of California, Granddaughter, Krista Martinez; grandsons, Nolan Martinez and Jordan Wirth; five sisters; and four brothers. Visitation will be 9 - 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 noon at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, NV
