Luz Idelia Vargas

March 21, 1938 - October 12, 2022

Luz Idelia Vargas, age 84 of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday afternoon, October 12, 2022.

Born on March 21, 1938 in Lares, Puerto Rico She was raised and lived most of her younger years in Puerto Rico where she met the love of her life, Efrain. They married and moved to New Jersey and raised their five children before moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1997 where she dedicated the rest of her life to her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 siblings and her beloved grandson, Brandon Reyes.

She is survived by her husband Efrain Vargas, Sr., 5 children Efrain Vargas, Jr, William Vargas, Daniel Vargas, Jannett Vargas, Marybelle Pender, her son-in-law Anthony Pender, her cherished 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation begins on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Palm Mortuary,800 S. Boulder Hwy Henderson, NV 89015 with a Memorial Service and Funeral Service immediately following at The Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr Boulder City, NV 89005 12:00 p.m.,
