Louis Joseph Paone

Louis Joseph Paone, age 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Louis was born June 30, 1936 in Niagara Falls, New York to his parents Luigi Paone and Maria (Rotella) Paone. Upon graduating Niagara Falls High School Louis joined the U.S. Navy and traveled the world, spending a good deal of time in Italy, which was a dream for him.

After leaving the Navy, Louis settled in the Washington D.C. area, where he became a ballroom dance instructor, and met the love of his life; Elsa. Louis and Elsa married, started a family and moved back to Niagara Falls, where the raised their 3 children.

Louis and Elsa retired to Las Vegas to be closer to their children. Besides his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brother, Pasqualino (Pat), and his beautiful wife, Elsa. He is survived by his 3 children: Maria (Sean), Louis (Cecilia) and Christina (Keith).

A funeral service with military honors for Louis will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 10:40 AM to 11:10 AM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
