Joseph Patrick LePire Jr.

Joseph Patrick "Joe Jr." LePire, 66, was born on June 30, 1946, in Branchville, MD. He passed away on March 28, 2013, in Henderson, NV. He served in the US Air Force stationed at Nellis in Las Vegas, NV. He was a lifetime member of the PGA and was general manager and head professional at the Winterwood Golf Course. He served the Southern Nevada golfing community for many years. He was involved in the Southern Nevada Junior Association and a longtime member of the UNLV Golf Foundation. Joe was a well know businessman in Las Vegas and Henderson and was appreciated for his volunteer work with tournaments and Junior Golf. Joe Jr. was preceded in death by his mother Edith LePire and his grandson Chrystopher. He is survived by his life companion Chrys Cooley, his son David, his daughter-in-law Nettie, grandchildren Alissa, Davey, and Ally, his great grandson Cole, his father Joe Sr, and step-mother Mary, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, many nieces, nephews and numerous good friends. He was a great and generous man who was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be Thursday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson NV. 89015

Memorial Service and burial will be at 10:40am at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV. 89005

Reception will follow at Black Mountain Country Club, 500 Greenway Road, Henderson, NV. 89015
