John J. Scharf, 86, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2016. He was born May 14, 1930 in Bridgeport, CT. He was a retired fiscal services director and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. John was preceded in death by his wife Catherine and is survived by his sons Johnny (Pauline) and Kevin (Imee), daughters Kathleen (Ed), Nancy Hickey (Greg) and Donna (Albert), and 12 Grandchildren. Services will be January 20, 2017 at 12:40 pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
