He grew up in Queens, NY with his mother, Josephine. John joined the service and served his Country in the First Calvary of the US Army. His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him two purple hearts. Upon leaving the army, he married MaryAnn Falco, his wife of 48 years and started a family. His greatest joy was to plan and take family vacations. Always traveling by car, these road trips with his family were a constant source of laughter and wonderful memories throughout his lifetime. He retired to Henderson, NV in 2012, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
John passed away on March 11, 2018, in the St Rose Hospital after an illness, surrounded by his wife and daughters.
John is survived by his wife, MaryAnn, children, Christine, Diane, Donna and John and grandchildren, Nicholas, David, Paige and Danielle.
