James “Jimmy” Muldoon, passed away suddenly July 4, 2016, from this Earth and stepped into the arms of Jesus Christ, his Savior. He was born Dec. 13, 1930, to Patrick and Katherine Muldoon, in San Francisco. Jim Proudly served in the U.S. Army as was a Korean War hero. Upon discharge, he joined his dad and worked as a longshoreman until his retirement from the ILWU in 1995, when he retired to Boulder City and then Henderson. James was born again Easter Sunday in 1964 and loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a people lover, kind, compassionate and caring for everyone, as well as an animal lover. His dog, Mello, and cat, Peggy, are missing their “Papa.” In his earlier years, he was an avid boater and spent many wonderful times at the lake with family and friends. Jim leaves behind his beloved wife, of 51 years, Judy; two sons, Keith (Tonya) Farsbetter and David (Sharon) Bouronich; daughter, Amber (Eric) Snethen; grandchildren, Shannon Yelensky and D.J. Bouronich; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Cody, Brooklynn and Jordynn. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Service will be at 10:40 a.m. Friday, July 22, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
