James C Mitchell

James was born on July 17th 1929 in Lamar Missouri to Roy A and Theodosia Mitchell. James was a US Navy Veteran who served on the USS Tarawa.

He married the love of his Life Linda in 1970 and they have been married for 50 years. James was a Christian man, a true gentlemen, and admired by many and a man of character. He loved many things in his life but Golf, the Bakersfield College Renegades and the St Louis Cardinals were at the top of his list behind God and Family.

He had a quick wit, an infectious smile and a compassionate spirit. You could not ask for a better husband or father, we were blessed to have him in our life for as long as we did.

James was preceded in death by his father Roy and his mother Theodosia, His sister Louise, His sister Martha, His sister Margaret, His Sister Helen, His Daughter Terri and His Grandson Caleb.

He is survived by his wife Linda, his son Tom, Daughter in law Tristan and grandchildren Kelsey and Megan.

There will be a Chapel Service held on 7 March 2020 at 2:00 PM for James (Bud) Mitchell at Highland Hills Baptist Church 615 College Dr. Henderson, NV 89002
