James ‘Jim’ Hayman of Henderson, Nevada passed away on February 27th after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Arlene, daughter Genevieve, daughter-in-law Colette, his aunt Winnie, and his sister-in-law Wendy and her husband Gary. He is greatly missed by extended family and friends.
Born in South Korea in 1948, Jim moved to Japan and then settled in the U.S. to live with his parents Harold and Marie Hayman. He graduated from the University of Oregon, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, and later worked as an architect, restaurateur, chef, and casino dealer. Jim had a gift for art and a passion for food (cooking and eating!), but was best known for his uplifting sense of humor.
