Gloria Jean Feaster, age 74, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was born the oldest of nine children to Gloria and Andrew Paskovich on June 12, 1949 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Raised in New Jersey with her four sisters and four brothers, Gloria graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1967. She went on to continue her education, graduating in 1971 from Trenton State College, earning her Bachelors degree in Education.
On August 14, 1971, Gloria would marry the love of her life, Vincent Joseph Feaster, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Now a military wife, Gloria would follow her new husband around the world. She immediately moved to Turkey, and traveled Europe, visiting Spain, Greece, Holland, and Germany. In 1977, they would settle in South Carolina, where their oldest daughter, Jennifer, would be born in July. In 1980, the young family would briefly relocate back to New Jersey, until 1981, when they would move to Spain. In January of 1984, they would welcome their son, Joseph into the world. The family would then travel to Italy and Portugal until settling in Henderson, Nevada in October of 1984. At that time Gloria and Vincent would buy a permanent family home to raise their family. In October of 1986, the couple would welcome into the world their youngest daughter, Christine. As their family grew, Gloria became a grandmother in 2005 with the birth of first granddaughter, Georgia; and the birth of her second granddaughter, Anastacia, in 2010.
Now settled in Nevada, Gloria went to work at Creative Kids Learning Center. Over the course of her career, she would work as a teacher, Assistant Director, and eventually as a Director until retiring in the early 2000's.
Gloria was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family having dinner at the kitchen table, listening to the kids joke around and laugh afterwards; she cooked every night. She enjoyed her two granddaughters Georgia and Anastacia, whom she adored and spoiled more than she did her own children. Gloria was also an avid reader, and loved her Danielle Steel and Jodi Picoult books; when she wasn't talking on the phone with her sisters for hours about anything and everything.
Christmas was Gloria's favorite holiday. She would decorate all ends of her home, making it a Christmas wonderland. Gloria collected Santas, and during Christmas, all different types of Santas displayed throughout the house. Gloria was known to make Christmas morning magical, playing Santa with stockings full and gifts galore. In addition, Gloria loved making Paskovich family recipes and sharing with her children; with her sisters calling every holiday to verify the recipes.
Gloria was a compassionate, warm hearted person, who lived life to the fullest. She was a true matriarch of her family and will be missed.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Paskovich; mother, Gloria Paskovich; her sisters:, Joyce Paskovich and Lisa Coles; and her brother-in-law, Carl DiCintio. She is survived by her husband, Vincent Feaster; her children: Jennifer Giobres (Pete), Joseph Feaster (Diana Dixon), and Christine Feaster; her sisters: Linda Szatmary (Robert Fox) and Nancy DiCintio; brothers: Stephen Paskovich (Nancy), Michael Paskovich (Cheryl), Mark Paskovich (Debbie), and David Paskovich (Tracy); her granddaughters: Georgia Giobres and Anastacia Giobres; and her brother-in-law, David Coles.
