She graduated from Balboa High School and attended City College in SF. She met and married Robert J. Shaw in 1955 and had three sons, Robert Shaw IV., Brian and Neil while living in Gonzales, CA.
Over the years, she worked in Salinas at Hansen Farms, KSBW Channel 8 and finally as a clerk for the Monterey County Building Department where she retired. She attended Trinity Episcopal church in Gonzales, Ca and finally St. Paul’s Episcopal in Salinas, Ca. She was a voracious reader, took up photography and loved movie trivia, especially of the MGM studios heyday. Even in her elderly years, she stayed up on current events using audio books, iPad and computer. She enjoyed researching various subjects online and her sense of curiosity never waned. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy (Kline) Monheim, her father, Gerald Monheim, her husband, Robert Shaw, and her eldest son, Robert Shaw IV. She is survived by sons Brian and Neil, daughter in law Kimberly Shaw. Beloved daughter in law, Anita Fragoso-Shaw, grandsons, Andrew and Christopher Bancroft . She is also survived by her sister, Joyce (Monheim) Zouzounis, her nephews, Steven and Mike Zouzounis, two granddaughters, Amanda and Amber Shaw, daughter-in-law, Cindy Shaw, two great grandsons, Ryan and Colton Vancil of Bakersfield, Ca.
