Gary Dwane Baier

Gary Dwane Baier 72, of Henderson, NV passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Sunrise Hospital. He lived in the Las Vegas area since 1996 and was previously from Simi Valley, CA. Gary was born July 16, 1942 to Dwane and Ila Jean (McCabe) Baier in Harlan, Iowa. He graduated from Camelback High School, Phoenix, AZ in 1960. On May 17, 1973 he married the former Constance Haeckner in Las Vegas. He enjoyed boating, fishing, wildlife, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Constance, David Baier (Son) of Henderson, NV, Brenda & Pat Gifford (Daughter) of Clarksville, AR, Kimberly and Paul Lester (Daughter) of Henderson, NV, Judy Deforest (Sister) of San Marcos, TX, 6 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwane and Ila Jean, his sister Beverly (Baier) Bain, and daughter Tracey (Baier) Johnson. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, February 8 at 177 Laguna Hills Ct, Henderson, NV 89002 (Paul & Kim’s House). Memorials may be sent to the above address.
