Garry A. Davis

Garry A. Davis, 76, died January 25, 2013 in Henderson, Nevada after an extended illness. Garry was born in Santaquin, Utah on July 30, 1936. Garry graduated from Payson High School in 1954. He then attended BYU for one year.

Garry moved to Henderson, Nevada in 1956, in order to work and pay for college, but was never able to return. He married his wife of 43 years on January 24, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Garry was employed by Federal Sign Company and worked on many of the neon signs in Las Vegas. He became a Union member and worked as a Commercial Electrician for 30 years.

Garry is survived by his wife, Etta Jean Davis, children, Terri Gomez, Tom Davis, Stephanie Davis, Beverly Edmundson and Ronnie Davis, thirteen grandchildren, brothers, Larry C. Davis and Neil B. Davis, sister, Janet Kelley, and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by one daughter, Lauretta Sheperd.

Services to be held at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson NV 89015. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -7:00pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 and the following morning, January 31, 2013 from 10:00am -11:00am. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, with Graveside services immediately following at Palm Boulder Highway Cemetery.
