Eddye Mae Andrews

Eddye Mae Andrews, age 89, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Eddye was born in Brinkley, AR on September 16,1933. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana. She met and married Keith Eugene Andrews, Sr. on July 16,1964. Her career was in Clerical and administration for Southern Pacific Railroad and various U.S Government Departments. She was also a U.S Air Force Veteran during the Korean Conflict and was on the Air Force basketball team. She was a lifelong member and missionary of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. She had a passion for life and enjoyed encouraging other to live to their fullest. She was preceded in death by her parents Edie and Lallie Nunn, her siblings Lanier Nunn(Jerry), Daniel Nunn, Bossetta Harmon, Quintin Nunn, Jeraline Kinard. She is survived her husband of 58 years Keith Eugene Andrews, Sr.,her sister Sandra Barksdale, her children Geraldine Nunn, Debra Adamson, Keith E Andrews, Jr. and Yolanda Andrews Silver., Grandchildren Jennifer(Jim) Oswell, Lydell Scoggins, Marc Andrews, and Jasmine Silver and 1 great-grandchild Aiden Pranther. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Eddye will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 10:40 AM to 11:00 AM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
