Betty David Richardson

Betty D. Richardson ("Becky") died peacefully at her Kensington, Maryland home on November 12, 2020 surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Richardson, to whom she was married for 52 years.

She was born in Chicago, IL on March 26, 1926 and lived in Bethesda, MD for 33 years before retiring with her husband to Las Vegas, NV in 2003. She is survived by her children, Mark Richardson (Lorraine), Perry Richardson (Cris), and Lisa Weed (Jerry); as well as eight grandchildren: Elizabeth, William, Spencer, Graham, Natalie, Sam, Jordan and Austin; and numerous friends and relatives. Private Interment will be held at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of Betty's life is planned for the spring of 2021 in Washington, DC, when it is safer to gather.

Betty owned and operated a secretarial service in Washington for over 20 years, known as My Other Secretary. Prior to that she was administrative assistant to her husband Bob at the Helicopter Association International. She was an avid reader, music enthusiast, and champion of the human spirit. Betty was an empathetic supporter who graced everyone with her tenderhearted ways. May her memory be a blessing and everlasting comfort all who knew her.
