Anthony Michael McAllister Sr.

Anthony Michael McAllister, Sr., age 68, of Henderson, Nevada received his inheritance on Friday August 2, 2019. Anthony was born December 20, 1950 in Buffalo, New York to Mary Ann Pride and James McAllister. He was the youngest of ten children who were born and raised in Buffalo, New York.

Anthony was raised catholic, where he accepted Christ at an early age and as an adult was born again. He was a devoted husband and father, strong in his faith and love for Jesus Christ.

Anthony Michael McAllister, Sr. was a Jack of all trades and would say he was a master of none. He was known for his photography, painting, sports, carpentry, and his excellent skills in the kitchen. He loved playing his percussions, singing, dancing, and writing Gospel songs and poems. Anthony was valued and highly respected by his wife, Brenda Denise McAllister whom will be forever grateful for all the time and precious moments they created throughout their years together. He will be remembered for his wisdom, love, prayers, friendship, loyalty, his ability to comfort and console, and most of all his strength. He will be extremely missed and etched into our hearts forever.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, James McAllister; mother, Mary Ann Pride; sisters: Margaret Gilliam, Rena Slaughter, Mary Humphrey, and Verlin Rhodes; and Brothers: Charles McAllister

James McAllister, and Lawrence McAllister. He leaves to cherish in his memory his wife of 30 years, Brenda Denise McAllister; children: Anthony McAllister, Jr. (Nora), Jeffrey McAllister (Tammy), Dorian McAllister (Jenelle), Alonzo McAllister, Alicia Grant (Carlton), Andrea McAllister, Branden French, Anton McAllister, MaKayla McAllister, and Lavell McAllister; two sisters: Dorothy Patterson and Joyce Jones; the mother of seven of his children, Gwendolyn; 35 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

A visitation for Anthony will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will occur Friday, August 16, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM both at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Anthony will be laid to rest at Palm Henderson Cemetery.
